Charles Curtis Johnson

Mr. Johnson was born in Westmorland County, VA to the late Henry Johnson and Elizabeth Hampton Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Jeanette Ingle Johnson; his son Steve Curtis Johnson; his brother Henry Johnson and sister, Millie Pauley.

He was retired from Broyhill Furniture and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sisters, Ethel Kierson of King George, VA, Viola Epperson of King George, VA, and Willma Stevenson of Fredricksburg, VA; his half-brother John Hoskins of Fredricksburg, VA; sister-in-law and care giver, Natalie Reeves of Hudson; and 4 brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
