Chadley O'Neil Lancaster Sr.

Born in Iredell County on July 23, 1970, he was the son of the late Cletus Gene Lancaster, and Sylvia Garris Fox and bonus daddy, John Lewis Fox, Sr., who survive.

Chad was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Chad love to fish, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Football fan, and was a proud NIHS band parent. He was a proud graduate of West Iredell High School, and he worked for Toter, Inc. in Statesville for 18 years and attended Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle. He also was a licensed insurance agent with Pegram & Bost Insurance Agency.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, and bonus daddy, are his loving wife and companion of 27 years, Shelly Ranee Taylor Lancaster; his two sons, Chadley O’Neil Lancaster, Jr. and Dallas Wayne Lancaster; one brother, Joseph Martin Lancaster, Sr.; one sister, Tricia Dawn Walker; six nephews, Sonny Taylor, Chris Keller, Ben Keller, Alin Lancaster, Joseph Lancaster, Jr. and Jonathan Lancaster; two nieces, Stacey Matsuoka and husband Mak, and Taylor Jordan; two great-nieces, Adalyn and Gabrielle Matsuoka, and his bonus family members.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home and on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle, 135 Village Point Drive Statesville, NC 28625 with the funeral service following at 3:00 PM with Rev. Max Hayes and Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. At other times, the family will be assembled at the residence of Mrs. & Mrs. Joseph Lewis Fox, Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Ballou, Jason Lancaster, James Taylor, Sonny Taylor, Steven Eagle, Joseph Lancaster, Sr., Joseph Lancaster, Jr., and Alin Lancaster.
