Carolyn Hamby Triplett

Carolyn was born December 17, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Arnold Vernon Hamby and Lula Mable Norris Hamby.

Carolyn was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, son and grandson were the lights of her life. Carolyn was an active member of Union Grove Baptist Church and served on several committees. She was a nurses assistant for many years, a very caring person and loved to take care of others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Hamby.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty years, Brady Triplett of the home, her son, Brad Triplett of the home, one grandson, Taz Triplett of Vale, a daughter-in-law, Sandy Church and a sister-in-law, Brenda Hamby.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 with Reverend Sam Craven and Reverend Travis Triplett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carolyn’s nephews; Chad, Jason, Stephen, Neil and Cliff Triplett and Stanley Hendrix.

Memorial may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street Lenoir, NC 28645.
