Bonnie Rector Coffey

Bonnie Rector Coffey, age 77, of Granite Falls passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2024 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born on September 27, 1946 to the late Thurman and Viola Rector.

Everyone loved "Miss Bonnie" for her humbleness, selfless devotion, and friendship. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children Ricky Coffey of Granite Falls and Beth Johnson (husband Tim) of Lenoir, her only granddaughter and her pride and joy, Jilian Alexis Johnson, her sister Brenda Waters (husband Gary), her brother Mike Rector (wife Linda), and multiple nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Stanley Stephen “Steve” Coffey and her sister Joan Rector Bolick.

A funeral service for Mrs. Coffey will be held 5:00 PM on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at Pendry's Funeral Home, officiated by Pastors Brandon and Gary Waters. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
