Bobby Neil Whittington

Mr. Whittington was born in Caldwell County to the late Ralph Lindon Whittington and Ruby Clyde Vannoy Whittington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lynn Whittington. He was the owner of W & W Salvage, and a longtime employee of the Old Kincaid Furniture Plant #1. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Loved antique cars and enjoyed building cars.

He leaves behind his lifetime girlfriend, Louise McCrary, his brother, Jerry Whittington and numerous other relatives to cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 in Pendry’s Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Darrel Wright and Mr. Tony Teague officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
