Bobby Freeman Miller

Bobby Freeman Miller, age 71 of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born Monday, October 16, 1950 to the late Villa Osborne and Phonso Miller in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller is proceeded in death by his brothers Roy Miller and David Osborne.

He is survived by his loving wife Rita Greene Miller of the home, son David Blevins Jr. (Amber) of Kings Creek, daughters Tammy Greene (Chris) of Hays NC and Christy Anderson (Robbie) of Roaring River, NC. Seven Grand Children, Samantha Clark, Austin and Savannah Blevins, Krista and Cody Greene, Jacob and Timothy Anderson. One great grandson Jayden Clark. One brother Bruce Miller, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Miller, will be remembered for his love for Christ and his enjoyment of being a member of Setzer Creek Baptist Church. Bobby also loved his family and friends with a special excitement for spending time with his grandkids, as he was a “Big Kid at Heart”. Bobby spent his free time in the garden growing everything from flowers to vegetables.

The Miller family will receive friends Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Memorial Service for Bobby will follow on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Pastor John Jernigan will be officiating.

Inurnment will be with the family.
