Bobby Gene Campbell Sr.

Bobby Gene Campbell Sr., age 92 of Lenoir, passed away, on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke County. Born Friday, December 13, 1929 to the late Esther and David Campbell, in Caldwell County.

An addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by wife Peggy Fox Campbell of 42 years, second wife Peggy Sheppard of 14 years, a son Douglas Campbell, brother Howard Campbell, and sister Mildred Campbell Benfield.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his sons Michael Campbell, Bobby Campbell Jr. (Wife Sharon), daughter Teresa Houston (Husband Gary), and daughter in-law Wendy Campbell. Bobby also leaves behind eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Bobby, will be remembered for being a loving father and family man. Bobby welcomed everyone into the family and made them feel special. He was a long time member of Collier's United Methodist Church and the Lions Club. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

The Campbell family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service for Bobby will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Rev Wayne Caviness officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, 2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
