In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by brothers JC Helton and Maynard Helton, sisters Ruby McNeil and Mary Walsh.
Mr. Helton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Watson Helton. Sons Tony Helton (Christine) and TJ Helton (Rose) both of Lenoir, NC. One daughter Becky Morgan (Rodger) of Pennsylvania and Foster daughter Caitlyn Raynor. Grandchildren Jacob and Aaron Helton, Bobby and Brian Short, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Bill, will be remembered for being a loving husband and father. He was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church for 38 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher and deacon. Mr. Helton loved sharing the gospel and his love of Christ. He was a friend to everyone and would give the shirt off his back. Bill and Linda have been foster parents to many, and will be missed greatly.
The Helton family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service for Bill will be held at Blue Creek Baptist Church, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Rev Jack Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Zion United Methodist.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Blue Creek Baptist Church, 3580 Still Meadow Way, Lenoir, NC.
