Born April 21, 1954 in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Columbus. Moore “Dboy” and Alma Lucille Dula. She worked in the furniture industry as a hand sander and was a member of Harper’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Beverly was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Denny Dula, Eric and Eddie Moore.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Donnell Thomas (Teranada Greene) of Hickory; grandchildren, Dashaun Greene, Deandria Thomas, Davon Thomas; one God-Child, Carinda Powell; two brothers, Charles Moore and Thomas Moore (Valarie), both of Lenoir; four sisters, Elizabeth McDowell (Kenneth), Gloria Walker (Wallace), and Cheryl Moore, all of Killen, Texas, and Cassandra Yount of Morganton. She also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives to cherish her memory
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Harper’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeris Parsons officiating, Dr. Venoy Pearson, and Rev. Jerome Pearson.
The family is gathering at the home of Anita Dula, 604 Hospital Ave. Lenoir.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care 902 Kirkwood St. Lenoir, NC 28645.
