Betty McClung Childers, 58, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Valdese General Hospital.
Mrs. Childers was born in Graham County, NC to the late Lois Marie Anderson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Allen Maxon. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Robbinsville.
Survivors include her husband, David Harris Childers of the home; sons, Richard Daniel Maxon and wife Ashley Nicole Renfro and David Andrew Maxon; a step-son, Paul Edward Childers; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Luther and husband Christopher Huscusson; step-daughters, Manuela Miller and Christy Moser; a brother, Richard McClung. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren to cherish her memory.
There will be no services for Mrs. Childers at this time.
