Barbara Coffey

Barbara Ann Arnett Coffey, 81, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Amorem in Hudson. Barbara was born March13, 1940 in Caldwell County to the late Clarence W. and Mattie Pearl Bentley Arnett.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Ray Coffey, 2 sons; Shane Ray Coffey, Shane Dennis Coffey, 2 sisters; Nellie Faye Ingram, Flossie Snow Bentley, 3 brothers; John Henry Arnett, James Arnett and Ronald Tate Arnett.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons; Terry Coffey and wife Karen, Robert Coffey and wife Margaret, both of Lenoir daughters, Kathy Conley and husband Shawn of Hickory Penny Elliotte and husband Grady, of Granite Falls, brother; David Arnett of Hickory. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grand children.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home with Mr. Gary Triplett and Mr. David Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hartley Hills Cemetery and will be held privately.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
