Mr. Triplett was born December 8, 1925 in Wilkes County to the late Jasper Lawrence Triplett and Gertrude Maie Sanders Triplett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen “Christine” Dula Triplett; brothers, J.C. Triplett, Brady Triplett, and Troy Triplett; sisters, Ila Campbell, Hazel Wolfe, and Clara Robbins; and two grandsons, Matthew Curtis Land and Kenneth Edward Perrone II.
Mr. Triplett was a Navy veteran and served during World War II.
A private graveside service with military honors will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir with Rev. Robert Hodges officiating.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Neal Triplett and wife Cheryl of Lenoir and Clif Triplett of Lenoir; daughters, Linda Land and husband Curtis of Lenoir, Karen Perrone and husband Ken of Arizona; brother, Harm Triplett of Lenoir; and sisters, Faye Hendrix of Morganton and Rainnie Shew of Asheville.
Also left to cherish his memory are thirteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
