Mrs. Stover was born May 17, 1945 in Caldwell County to the late Fred Reid and Elizabeth Moore Reid.
Mrs. Stover was retired from the Lenoir Police Department. She was a faithful member of Love Walk Ministries in Lenoir and a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and lover of her family and her community.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Gary and Charles Dixon, five sisters; Maggie Boyce, Frankie Smith, Ruby Howard, Brenda Pearson and Carolyn Kincaid.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Robin Ann Livingston-Reeves and husband Michael of Greensboro, Pastor Sherry Hicks and husband Anthony of Lenoir, grandson Richard Corpening of Alexandria, Virginia, great-grandchildren; Deron Corpening of Texas, Kayia LaCompta of Virginia, brothers; Fritz Reid, Michael Dixon, Paul Dixon, all of Lenoir, sisters; Gladys Baker of Lenoir, Nellie Wellington (George) of Boone, Dana Kincaid (Terry), Cassandra Rosenburg (Bobby), both of Lenoir, and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A Funeral Service to honor Mrs. Stover will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Pastor Sherry Hicks and Reverend Rupert Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Officers of the Lenoir Police Department.
Mrs. Stover’s nieces will be serving as flower girls.
