Micheline is of Italian descent, born in Kansas City, MO. Her ancestry’s names are Pascuzzi, Gigliotti and Cerra. She was a devote Catholic, who touch many lives in her 84 years on this earth. She was a special lady and a blessing to us all, especially to her family. Micheline lost her battle with cancer when God called her home to Heaven.

Micheline married her husband, Raymond D. Johnson, on Mar 4 1950. They moved to San Diego, CA right after they were married to start their lives together. The last 47 years they lived in Lemon Grove, CA. Her husband and she recently celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary. The two were blessed with six children. From oldest to youngest there is Ronald, Michael, Debra, Steven, John, and Raymond. She was the glue that kept this very large family together. She had 20 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren who loved there Nana so much. She loved each of us with all her heart.

For 25 years prior to her retirement, Micheline worked as an Office Manager doing Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Payroll. For a few years she was a seamstress at Ratner’s Clothing store in downtown San Diego. She supported many Charites from Catholic Missionaries, Catholic Diocese, St. John of the Cross Church, St. Jude’s Hospital, Veterans administration, and various Cancer Societies. She was a member of St. Anthony Women’s Society for years where they supported fund raising activities, cleaning, and alter preparations at St. Rita’s Church. Micheline was also very much into crafting, sewing, Flower arranging, Jewelry making, and in the last few years has made thousands of Missionary Rosaries. She would give the rosaries to priest, hospitals, doctors, missionaries, friends, family and anyone who needed them. She would also package them with a prayer and a pamphlet on how to pray the rosary in hopes that she would promote prayer. Those of you, who knew her, know she always had a camera and film in her hands. She captured all our special occasions and then some on film and videos. We now have all those moments preserved to cherish for years thanks to her. She was very invested in preserving our heredity in genealogy. She was a member of Ancesstory.com where she charted our family history for every family name in Family Tree Maker.

Visitation will be on Thursday ~ May 12, 2016 from 4 - 7 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m. both at Conrad Mortuary Chapel - 7387 Broadway - Lemon Grove, CA 91945. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday ~ May13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. Msgr Ned Brockhaus as Celebrant at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel - 4470 Hilltop Drive - San Diego, CA 92102.

Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.

Eternal rest grant unto Micheline, O Lord.

And let perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace. Amen.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.
