Maxine Mackey Oyos Tyler

She is survived by her cherished companion Manuel Garcia, of Spring Valley, children Susan Jones of Santee and son and daughter in-law Albert and Ilene Castro of Mission Viejo. She is the beloved sister of brothers Raymond, Billy, Frank, Rudy, and David Oyos; and sisters Lorraine Castellanos, Linda Wenger, and Kathy Gunn. She is "Grandma Maxine" to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is a beloved sister in-law, aunt, and friend to many who she loved and whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents Max and Annie Oyos and her sister Irene Bonilla.

Maxine grew up in Lemon Grove but lived also in San Clemente, Cedar City, Utah, and Spring Valley. Maxine loved playing bingo and was an avid baseball fan who loved her team, the Dodgers, a team she cheered on for over 50 years. But most of all she loved God and she loved her family. She will be missed by many.
