Lorenza Salvatierra was born in Tijuana Mexico on August 10, 1939 daughter of Guadalupe and Bernardina Salvatierra. Lorenza (AKA Lori) had two sisters and three brothers; Adela Tapiz, Grace Markquardt, Martin Salvatierra, Carlos Salvatierra (deceased), and Roberto Salvatierra (deceased). Lori married Samuel Espinosa on December 2, 1967 and gave birth to a son, David Espinosa on October 30, 1968 and a daughter, Sylvia Espinosa Padilla on November 13, 1969. Lori is also survived by three grandchildren, Javier Padilla jr., (24), Anthony Padilla (17), and Vincent Padilla (9).
Lori was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. She always put the needs of others ahead of hers. She was a beautiful, sweet, selfless, nurturing person and loved her family very much and they loved her. Lori had a very witty sense of humor and had a way with words. She also loved to cook and was very good at it; she made the best enchiladas and empanadas!
Lori worked at Lonnie’s trade bindery for about 10 years and then retired to be a housewife. The family is deeply saddened by her passing but find peace that she is no longer suffering or in pain. She will be missed tremendously, may she rest in peace.
"Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them."
Eternal rest grant unto Lorenza, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
II Timothy 4: 7-8
