Dr. Hannah Maria Plaut went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 23, just a few days short of her 90th birthday. She spent her life caring for and encouraging others, as a nurse, counselor, mentor, teacher of nursing, Bible teacher, aunt and friend. She never stopped learning, earning her Ph.D. at age 70. Hannah was preceded in death by her brother, Reinhard, and is survived by her sister-in-law Anne Duston, niece Karen Nichols, nephews Brian Plaut and David Plaut, and their families. A service was held at Mt. Miguel Healthcare Center on Thursday, February 8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Benevolent Fund at Mt. Miguel Covenant Village, 325 Kempton St., Spring Valley CA 91977.
