Esther Lenore Haaland was born May 2, 1912 in Hendrum, Minnesota to Simon P. and Johanna Hviding. She passed away on March 19, 2012 in La Mesa, California.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Alan Herman Haaland on June 14, 1990.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Dr. James and Susan Haaland; Dr. David and Joanne Haaland; daughters Carole Fredrickson and Phyllis Haaland; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Services will be on Thursday, March 29, 2012, 1:30 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 201 Oak Grove Road NW - Salem, OR 97304. (503-585-1373).
Burial will be next to her husband Alan in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
