Memories from his wife Beverly: "My Honey Dale was the sweetest person you would want to meet. When he walked in a room, it was like a burst of smiles and sunshine. He would talk to anyone and give you his last dime. Money meant nothing to him. He just had lots of love to spread.
Dale had his own business "U Call We Haul Big or Small" catchy name. Everyone in town knew him. He loved the water and couldn't swim a lick, but that was his joy. He loved Basketball and Football, camping and traveling. His hobby was restoring his 1980 BMW. He would just like to relax and enjoy life.
His favorite tv shows were Sanford and Son, and Andy Griffith, but he would sit with me and watch my girlies movies with me. I will truly miss every moment I spent with him. He was my best friend, my lover and my sweet husband. I will always carry you in my heart and soul. It was the best 22 years of my life."
Dale is survived by his wife, Beverly Brown; son Ladel Nelson; son Philip Nelson; daughter Pamela Silverman; and son Andrew Silverman; 2 brother, 1 sisters, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Dale will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 4:00 PM at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove, CA 91945.
