Linda Ann Harmon

Portsmouth RI and Lehigh Acres, FL

70, of Basin Street Portsmouth, RI died on Tuesday 3 May at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Linda battled rheumatoid arthritis for more than 40 years. Amazingly she never complained and always had a friendly smile and upbeat personality.

Born in Newport, RI on 31 March 1946 Linda was the wife of Thomas Harmon, mother of Christopher Harmon and grandmother of Danielle and Matthew Harmon of Lincoln, RI. She was the daughter of Joseph McDonald and Frances (Dudzik) McDonald and the sister of the late Sandra Miller. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Linda worked for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Middletown, RI for 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, Middletown Bocci League, shuffleboard at Fairways III in addition to spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed her winters with her friends at Fairways III and her summers with her friends and family in Rhode Island.

Her funeral will be held on Friday 13 May at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI and her burial will be at St, Columba Cemetery, Middletown, RI.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony Church Portsmouth, RI or the Salvation Army Newport, RI.
