William Harold Simmons: We knew him as Harold. We knew him as the man who could tell you the best interstates, state roads and major highways to take from ANY city in ANY state to get to ANY destination. We knew him as a man who had an unquenchable passion for golfing with his friends and for cat-fishing off the dock at his house on the river. We knew him as a man whose favorite place to eat was any Truck Stop Diner, any Waffle House or Huddle House.
Harold was born December 6th, 1937. He exited this life peacefully on October 12th, 2023 at 85 years of age.
He was born and raised in Alabama. After High School he joined the Navy where he served his country with honor for 4 years.
