Shelby Mitchell, age 86, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gladys Mae Mitchell; brother, Bobby Mitchell; sister, Barbara Nolan and son-in-law, Richard Smith.
Shelby is survived by her daughter, April Smith; son, Alan Martin (Rosie); grandchildren, Wesley Smith, Calah Burleson, and Jessica Smith; great grandchildren, Zoe Smith, Phoebe Kai Smith, Dakota Burleson, and Bailee Burleson; sister, Kay Fulmer (John Mahan).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
