Robert Davis Carswell

Robert Davis Carswell, age 67, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Warren Carswell. Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years Susan Webb Carswell; daughters, Harper Carswell Basquill (Matthew) and Bailey Camille Carswell; grandchildren, Hannah Kate, Addison, Webb Basquill Reese, Astrid, Brett Black, Symphony, Tesla, and Silas; nephews, Grant McLaughlin (Katie), Griffin Ash (Rebecca), Jacob Prentice (Megan), and Caleb Busby (Allyson); 7 great nieces and nephews; other relatives, Janice Thrower, Kelly Thrower McCafferty, Joann Skinner, Julie Thompson (Ian) and Chris Ash (Melissa). Robert attended Auburn University and was a member of Chi Chapter of Theta Chi. Robert worked 39 years with Brasfield and Gorrie as chief estimator and Vice-President. Robert was a volunteer coach of Leeds High School Wrestling Team for 9 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 PM from the Family's Home. Long time AGC Member and served as President for 1 year.
