Randy was a fun, loving man who was always there when someone needed him. He touched many lives thru his garage and selling parts from his junkyard. He was known for his sense of humor and the jokes loved to play on friends and family. His zeal for life made him try to live it to the fullness despite the medical issues he faced during his later years. His laugh made you laugh and his snirkey little smile made you fully aware that he was up to something.
He was often mistaken for a famous person. While walking around Birmingham once, people thought he was Hank Williams. They would ask him for his autograph and of course, he gave it to them. Once in the hospital, nurses spread the rumor that Stone Cold Austin was a patient. They started coming by to see him. Of course, he never told them he was not Stone Cold but he did take a lot of pictures with them and sign autographs.
Randy was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, and brother. He was a true friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all. We love you, Randy!
