Paul E. Adams

Paul E. Adams was born July 10, 1950. He graduated from Chelsea High School in 1968. On June 15, 1979, he married the love of his life, Betty Parker of Dunnavant, Alabama.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Millard L. and Josephine E. Adams and three brothers, Lonnie, Wayne and Billy Adams.

Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife and “Baby Doll”, Betty; two daughters, Tracy Parker Kelly of Calcis, Al., Angie Parker of Springville, Al.; one grandson, Jason Kelly of Stapleton, Al.; one sister, Patricia Darlene Isbell of Odenville, Al.; one brother, Doyle Matherson of Hanceville, Al.; and numerous nephews and nieces; great nephews and nieces; and cousins.

Paul worked as an electrician and general contractor for 40+ years, until he was forced to stop due to his sudden diagnosis of brain cancer. Paul was always there for his family and friends for whatever projects they needed him for. He had a kind spirit and gentle soul that will, no doubt, be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Friends may pay their respects from 2:00 PM. to 4:00 PM. Friday, September 20. 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 at 4:00 PM., in the chapel at Kilgore Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to the widow, Betty Adams, to help her pay for Paul’s final expenses.

The family offers a special Thank You to Alacare Hospice of Pell City, Al. for their loving care and support. They are truly “Angels walking amongst us.”
