Pat, I can't believe you are gone.  I worked with Pat at BFGoodrich.  She was the craziest of the office bunch.  She kept me laughing all of the time.  She was always pushing the envelope with Shirley and Weeda(?).  I wish I had one more time to laugh with you.

   Sweetheart, I am just now beginning to
get myself composed enough to address the legacy you leave behind.
   My first memories of you were back in 
1965 in our sophomore year at Hewitt-
Trussvile High School. I thought you were
the most beautiful woman I had ever seen
then and I still do now. You cast a spell
on me and I have been enchanted ever 
since.
   In the last four years I have had the pleasure of being in your company and we have had some really good times. I made
you several promises during that time and
I fell sure you know I will keep them.
   We had several long talks last month when we actually got to be alone. That was probably the longest ones since our home burned in Feb. I will always remember the things you said and hold them close.
   Everyone else has talked about what a 
pleasure it was to be with you and how much you enjoyed life, but I don't think you ever really realized just how much happiness you brought to everyone whose life you touched.

   I enjoyed every minute I had with you even the bad times were somehow good.    
  Sweetheart, my heart is broken and my sprit mortaly wounded. I don't know where I will go from here. 
   There is one thing I do know for sure, fourty-seven years of loving you will not end here, for I will always love you

I am glad that I had the opportunity to work you.  All the great times we had starting up WICS--and working with it thru the years. Also for the hospitality you showed when I came to Greenville on several occasions.  I will always remember "Crash Moon" and "Motor Mouth.  You will sadly be missed.

Pat, you will be missed greatly by all of your friends at Michelin.  It was a pleasure to know you and to work with you.  I pray peace and comfort to your family from the Father above.  God Bless you Ms. Pat.

To Damon and Hunter,
I know that you know it but I wanted to stress it again that your mother was much loved by all of her friends here at Michelin. My heart just breaks for yout two young men and I know that you will miss her terribly.

I remember all of the great times we had togehter and the fun trips and crazy things we did laughing and working, (always working as your mother was a worker bee - Queen of WICS) - everybody here knew who to call to get anything done.

She was such a sweet and lovely person to know and love and she will forever be in my heart because I loved her like a sister.

I will miss her friendship and her laughter and I am glad to know that she loved Jesus and that he has her safely in his arms now and that she is at rest.

I hope all of the family can take some comfort in knowing that.

Pat, I will miss your loving smile and how much you enjoyed life.  You had a way of lifting up any room you entered, there was never a dull moment when you were around.  I will always cherish the times we spent togehter and you were truly a blessing in my life.
