She is survived by her husband, Paul S. Varden; daughters, Melinda Varden Dawson, Lou Ann Varden Scott; son, D. Paul Varden; brothers, Joe Fortner, Buck Fortner; grandchildren, Amanda, Jared, Kathryn, Jessica and Kaylin.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with burial to follow in Forest Crest Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends Monday, April 11, 2011 from 6:00 PM. until 8:00 PM. at Kilgroe Funeral Home.
