She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wayne Howell; siblings, Elizabeth Vest, Oscar Peoples, Johnny peoples, Buddy Peoples, and Eddie Peoples.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Oakes (Dennis) and Lisa Grooms (Joe); sons, Terry Howell (Lisa) and John Howell; grandchildren, Felecia Rodriguez, Latasha Oakes, Joshua Oakes, Elizabeth Stevens, Christopher Howell, Wendy Howell, Emily Jones, Lecretia Thornton, Jesse Jones, Jonathon Jones, and Shannon Kitchens; and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with a funeral service to follow Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 12PM. Burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery.
