He is preceded in death by his father, Hugh Shockley; mother, Mamie Sue Sweatt; sisters, Susie Hammett, Eva Jo Watson, and Patsy Shockley; and brother, Robert Shockley. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Shockley; children, Jennifer Elkins (Michael), Ronnie Shockley (Crimson), Lisa Kennedy (Brian), Dennis Shockley, Amy Garrett (Jason). Grandchildren, Lindsey Johnson (Cameron), Owen Carr, Adam Carr, Austin Kennedy, Anna Kennedy, Caitlin Kennedy, Jon Kennedy, MaKayla Kennedy, McKenzie Bridges, and Bentley Bridges. Great grandchildren Ellisyn Johnson and Briar Johnson. Brother, Hugh Shockley and sister, Doris Shockley. Services for Mr. Shockley will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Liberty Community Church in Odenville, Alabama. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM.
