My precious son, I love you and miss you so much.  You were a part of me before any one else ever saw you.  People keep trying to tell me that time will lessen the pain.  I don't believe that will ever happen. This is like no pain I have ever suffered, not even when I lost Mom and Dad.  I do know that a part of you will always live on in that beautiful daughter of yours.  She is more like you than I ever knew.  I know that we will be together again one day and you will be standing at heaven's gate to welcome me there with open arms.  Until then I will continue to miss you every day. We were so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Our hearts ache for you, Karianne, Wendy, and the rest of the family. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We pray for God to hold you all in his loving arms during this difficult time, and to grant Michael eternal peace.

When I think back on all the memories of Michael all I can do is smile. As much as I will miss him, I know in my heart I will see him again. But selfishly we would like to keep him here with us longer. God never takes us a minute too soon or a day too late (even though its seems way too soon to us). Kim, though I did not know Michael that well, I have known you since you were a little girl and watched you and Cece grow up and cheer together so many years. I walk into the office, I see yours and my heart aches. So many mornings we sat catching up about the weekends or lining up the week. So many lunches about nothing but hanging out and some about work. So many days talking about our families, how proud we are of our kids with Karianne being at Auburn and hoping Emily goes there and drags Hunter with her. So many times of you listening to me about all the things Amanda and I have to deal with in life from family to work. So many times we've talked about everything from crazy stuff we did growing up or plans of things to do before growing old. So many times more from this day forward I'll miss you brother. Until we meet again on the streets of gold.

I grew up around micheal just right across the road and yes he was very shy. I dont have many memmories of him but the ones i do have will be cherished forever. May god be with all of you through this time of pain.

What can I say about my  memories of Michael?!  There are so many!  He was always smiling!  That's for sure.  He had the greatest personality and I don't know anybody who didn't like him.  He loved Kim and Karianne more than life.  It showed in everything he did.  He will truly be missed.  My prayers go out to his entire family.  May God comfort you as only He can!  Love to you all!

War Eagle Michael! I remember I used to text him Roll Tide....his response would be...well if you know Michael you already know what his response was to that!

My sweet brother...what can I say?  You are in my very first memories of life.  We did everything together.  We've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated and we've mourned.  I still don't believe it...I don't think I ever will believe that you wont be here again.  You were a shy, quiet boy and you turned into a loving and charitable man with a heart that made your family proud.  Our family will never be complete again and I don't know what I'll do when Auburn makes a touchdown and I don't get a text from you or aren't able to send you one.  As all siblings do, we've loved and we've fought, but we always, always knew that we were there for each other...no matter what, and that we loved each other unconditionally.  I have been SO proud of you all of your life and there is a hole in my heart now that will never, ever be filled again.  The last thing I told you was that I loved you and I do and always will.  Never a day will go by that I won't think of you and want to pick up the phone to tell you about something.  I will miss you so very much.  I hope you knew how much your big sister loved you and how very, very proud I was to call you my brother.  Please wait for me at the gates of Heaven, because I want your sweet, smiling face to be the first one I see.  I can't say I love you enough...my one and only brother...my first friend...my trusted confidant.  I will miss you every second until we see each other again.

Michael had the type of laugh that made others smile & laugh along with him. He was always willing to help others and asked for nothing in return. We can all be thankful that we had him in our lives. War Eagle Brother!

This is really tough on those who knew Michael well. I met Michael through a business relationship back in 1998 and that relationship grew through the years to much more of a freindship. Michael and I only saw each other a couple of times a year but knew to call each other once we were with in range of each other to catch up. The one thing that I will not forget about Michael was his love for his family Kim and Karianne. Everytime I touched based with Michael the conversation always gravitated to Karianne and how proud of her he was for her hard work and commitment to school. I thought at one time Karianne maybe heading to Duke during the day and Yale at night. That was how proud of her he was. I look forward to seeing Kim and Karianne  during my visit on Wednesday to share some of these conversations and experiences with them.

As Jeff Lee's Mother I have lots of memories of them as teenagers. what a group!

what a supper guy! It seems like only yesterday you were pulling up on elem st. driving a big AU bus ready for the big opener. you were always doing crazy things like that. you are loved and will be missed. may God rest his unfailing love upon your family and friends.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.
