Larry Wayne Howard

Larry Wayne Howard age 74, of Sterrett, AL passed away June 1, 2014. He retired from the Shelby County Highway Department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He is preceded in death by his sons, Jamie Lynn and Tracy Neil Howard.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Howard; daughter- Regina Pilkington (David); son-Jeffrey Howard (Janet); 4 grandchildren April Minton, Jonathan Pilkington, Joshua Howard, Cody Howard; 8 great grandchildren, Payton, Avalynn, Mattie, Leslie Ann, Jayden, Haleybeth, Joelle and Hunter; brother, Bobby Howard (Bobbie); step sisters, Martha McGinnis, Juanita Isbell; step brother, Cecil Oakes and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 beginning at 10:00AM with burial to follow at Pleasant Site Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 beginning at 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
