Keith Burgess Jr.

He was born in New London Connecticut on August 5, 1961. He is survived by his mother Audrey F. Burgess, his sisters Bonnie Moon, Cindy Burgess-Russotti and Tracy Sagun. He his predeceased by his father F. Keith Burgess Sr.

Keith’s roots were in the north but his heart was in the south. He had many friends who loved him and considered him a brother. He was very generous and kind, and often gave unselfishly, sometimes at his own expense. Keith was shop manager at BLT Steel Fabrication Inc. in Leeds.

He was a master craftsman who’s attention to detail and eye for the precise measure made him a standout among his peers. He was proud of the knowledge and skills he learned from his father and he in turn passed them on to his co-workers.

His loves were: family, friends, his Harley, guns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Nascar-especially #3, and retelling childhood stories.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 08, 2018 from 6PM to 7PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7PM.
