Journey Acosta, age 26, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Journey was born August 24, 1995. He is preceded in death by his cousin, Brett Singleton; grandfathers, Cecilio Acosta and Larry Singleton. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Reed Acosta; parents, Cesar Acosta and Teresa (Andy) Smith; sisters, Nicole Thurman, Kara (Michael) Moran, and Bella (Jacob) Penton; brothers, Gavin Spainhoward and Aedan Spainhoward. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 18, 2021 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM.
