Joseph Chew age 81, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Chong-Wo and Mary Chew and son, Shane Chew. Joseph is survived by his significant other, Aline Spurgeon; children, Joseph Chew (Joey), Allen (Dewana) Chew and Shirley Chew; grandchildren, Keli (Monti) Daddieco, Theodore Aitaro III (T.J) and Meialani Lebarre; great-grandchildren, Tony, Athena and Abigail; siblings, Myron, Edmae, Shirley Ann, Violet and Douglas; others, Debra Phillips, Linda Peoples, James Randall Spurgeon and Berry Dale Spurgeon; ; A host of other grandchildren; . A visitation will be held on Monday July 3, 2023 from 12:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00PM.
