Jimmy Howard

Jimmy Ray Howard Sr. (Buddy), age 86, of Sterrett, AL., passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents J.C. & Ola Howard, sister Sandra Howard & daughter Regina Howard Vick. He is survived by, wife of 62 years, Glynda Jordan Howard, son Jimmy Howard Jr., daughter Johnna Weldon, his sisters Martha Sue Partridge, Agatha Gulledge, grandchildren Robert (Robby) Poole Jr. , (Brittany), Robyn Willet, Morgen Bryant (Blake), Meagan Weldon, great-grandchildren Joshua, Tripp,Tyler,Brayden,Morris,Barret,Bowen,Levi & Ryleigh. Buddy was retired from IKG Industries (formally Borden Metals) in Leeds, AL. after 44 years of service. He was a deacon at Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy for 60 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 12-2 at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, AL 35094, followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with graveside at Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy in Sterrett, AL.
