Jerry H Hudgins

Jerry H. Hudgins, age 79, of Odenville, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Wilma Hudgins, four children Roy Hudgins (Tammy), Cinda Tucker (David), Vicki Buckner (Mike), Troy Hudgins (Paige); 5 grandchildren, Michael Buckner (Julie), Travis Tucker (Stacie), Brittany Bowen (Davis), Trey Tucker (Sidney), Heath Hudgins (Chelsea); 4 great grandchildren, Charli Rae Tucker, Holland Mae Tucker, Houston Tucker, Landry Tucker and one on the way in June 2020, Krew Davis Bowen. 3 sisters, Sue Heath (Gordon), Barbara Poe (Donald), Nelda Martin (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Shirley Davis is a very special Aunt to him and the family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Gladys Hudgins and brother Denton Hudgins.

Jerry was a lifelong member of Low Gap Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved everything outdoors. He grew a garden until his decline in health so he could supply the neighbors with vegetables. He will be missed by many.

Pallbearers are Travis Tucker, Trey Tucker, Heath Hudgins, Michael Buckner, Davis Bowen, Wes Heath, Lee Heath, Dennis Hudgins and Eric Poe.

Services will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home is Leeds, AL on January 7 , 2020 with visitation from 12:00-2:00PM at the funeral home with a service at 2:00PM.

Burial will follow at Low Gap Methodist Cemetery in Odenville, AL.
