Doris Jean Armstrong, age 81 of Leeds, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mary Armstrong and a sister, Alice Blankenship. Miss Armstrong is survived by her sister, Brenda Hannah (Jerry) and brother, Mitchell Armstrong, (Joyce) as well as several nephews and nieces, friends and special caregivers from Affinity Hospice. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the service to be in the chapel beginning at 11:00 PM. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
