Janice Lee Waites, age 84 of Moody, Alabama, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, H. O. Waites, her brother, Buddy Lee, and her sister, Jo Ann Burkett. Mrs. Waites is survived by her daughter, Michele Waites; her sons, Bart Waites (Veronica), Brian Waites, and Brett Waites (Tammy); her grandchildren, Chris Waites, Connor Waites, Jared Akins, Mayce Akins, Lela Waites, Henry Waites, Joshua Waites, Karlie Waites, and Cassi Waites Lopez (Horacio); and one great grandchild, Aria Worrell. The visitation for Mrs. Waites will be on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
