When I think of Tim I smile because he always had something funny to say. When I think of Tim Im a little sad because I miss my friend. Athough i miss him he's in such a better place with no more pain and worries.It was a pleasure to know yuo buddy.

I did not know Tim before his life before "Laura & Tim" but I know his life changed for the better when he got with my sister, Laura.  I loved Tim and he was one of my favorite brother-in-laws of all.  I learned a lot about fishing and miss him dearly.  Love you always. Steve Maddox (Laura's Brother)

Norman and I were honored to be a part of Tim and Laura's life during Tim's illness.  Norman heard many great hunting and fishing stories while sitting with Tim during some of the "warm" summer and fall days on the back porch last year.  Tim was an inspiration to all as he knew that the suffering he endured was nothing compared to the glory that God would reveal to him when he went to heaven (Romans 8:18 NLT). His love for Laura, family and friends will live in their hearts for eternity.

It is hard to believe that it has been a year already since we lost such a LOVING and DEAR person in our lives. He is missed so much and we know that he is in God's hands with his Daddy, Brother,Grandparents, Cousin and Aunts and Uncles Once again he is back with FAMILY that he loved so Dearly... My dearest Tim,
I have missed you so today and always.  I have remembered the last two weeks of this time last year and what was going on in our world during those days in the hospital. You always tried your best in the hospital and was a kind and willing patient to the nurses when you could.  Oh Tim, I wish we'd had more days together.  You were so sweet to me and I thank you for that.  Jamie and Marc saw that and remember that you were a good dad to them, also.  I didn't know you but 10 years, but when we met we kinda needed a new path and we walked down that path together willingly.  We had some good times enjoying nature and God's great creation!
That includes our family, friends, jobs, everything the good Lord lets us experience everyday.  Of course, everyday is not a picnic and Jesus told us we would have trials and tribulations in this world, but He came and made it so much better and bearable.  And occasionally we get lucky and get to hang out with people working out God's work in the Kingdom and that is awesome when that happens.  I think I got a glimpse of that with you.  Your picture on your Guestbook with your arms open is like a cross, The Cross that calls us all and we are all welcome.  I know you were happy when we were together and you were a kind and loving person to me.
I think you were basically a happy and smiling person, so many people remember that about you in the all the years I didn't know you.   I will never forget our life together and cherish the memories.  I love you  and I will see you again some day.

It's hard to sum you up, despite the fact that you might've been considered a "man of simple pleasures".  It's hard because being the solid, loving, loyal, hard working, supportive guy you were was probably anything but simple.  It's what made you so awesome.

You were there for me in so many ways, so consistently even though I didn't really deserve it.  I hope you know how much I appreciated it; how much I needed it.

I only wish I could've known you as my dad a little longer. Laughed with you. Cooked with you. Fought and made up with you. Helped you a little longer, a little more.  I'm sorry you're gone, man.

You were a great father to me, and a great man.  Thanks for being so good to mom.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Tim personally but I did know him through Laura. He was the love of her life and I know she misses him greatly. He brought so much laughter and joy to her life. She always said they were "meant to be".

Dear Tim, yesterday, August 28 I went to have dinner with a friend of mine on 280.  I went down 119 and as I passed Bold Springs, the light were on the sign and that told me you were fine.  Momma's with you and you too are celebrating her assention into heaven.  Give her a hug for me, tell her I love her.  You were a good brother in law and more like a brother.  Glad you were part of our family!  You are still a part of our family, I know you are watching over us all.  Laura is OK, but she really misses you. I saw 3 turkeys on Rex Lake Road the other day, cool.  They are actually expanding the road where I saw them.  Also, I came by Bold Springs a day ago and saw a small deer, also cool. Another friend you will see soon, Sandra.  She got killed in tornado that hit Al.  We are all fine, but M and Deanna had cousins that died.  So sad, so much stuff messed up.  But our Good and Gracious Lord has a plan to make things work out for our good, no matter how much we don't understand.  Bold Springs had a lot of trees down also.
