James E Martin age 84, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Glenda F Martin; sons, Markus (Tara) Martin and Edward (Kathy) Martin; sisters, Patsy (Steve) Stoffel and Kathy (Marus) McCloud; brothers, Harold Martin, Rayburn (Tanya) Martin and Frank (Glenda) Martin; grandchildren, David Johnsey, Wesley Martin, Brandon Martin, Christen Martin and Andrew Sands; great-grandchildren, Maci Johnsey, Jameson Johnsey, Evan Johnsey and Jermiah Martin. He was a member of New Lebanon Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Flannigan Excavating. A visitation will be held on Sunday July 25, 2021 from 12-2PM with a service to follow at 2:00PM from the New Lebanon Church in Springville, Alabama.
