James Harold Isbell

James Harold Isbell, age 89 of Leeds, AL went to his heavenly home, Saturday, April 12, 2025. He retired from IKG-Borden Metal after 40 years of employment. Harold was a minister and preached at various churches and conducted a lot of funerals. He was a member of Vandiver Church of God for 23 years where he taught Sunday School and helped form the Senior Adult Fellowship; he loved to travel and take cruises. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lili Mae Isbell; daughter, Angelia Isbell; son, Melvin H. Isbell; four sisters and two brothers.

Harold is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda L. Isbell; son, Marty Van Isbell (Patsy); sister, Mary Lee Guess; sister in law, Carol Howard (Carl), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Compassus Hospice and caregivers, Riley, Jana, Gwen and Glenda.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Vandiver Church of God from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Vandiver Church of God beginning at 12:00PM with burial to follow at Kendrick Cemetery.
