Harold L White Sr.

Harold L. White, Sr., long time resident of Sterrett and member of Beulah Baptist Church, passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born December 15, 1935 in Moulton, AL to Lee R. White and Nora Wilson White. He was most recently employed by O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Moody, AL and had retired from Napa Auto Parts. He also enjoyed a long and prolific musical career as a lead guitarist. Harold is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy White and his two siblings; Louise Stephenson and John Cranford White (Crant). Survivors include his sisters; Annette Logan of Danville, AL and Joyce Fields of Parkersburg, WV, his three children; Thomas L. White (Tom), Lethea Benson, and Harold Lee White, Jr. (Bo), his three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, AL 35094. On Friday, August 12, 2022 there will be a graveside service beginning at 11:00 AM at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The services will be directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds, AL.
