Harold Taylor Martin, age 83, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Harold was born November 10, 1938. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Lynnette Martin; parents, Edd and Ruby Martin; brothers, Charles and James Martin; sisters, Gayle Mashburn, Linda Schulz, and Peggy Martin. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Sparks; sons, Steve (Marie) Martin, Rickey (Robin) Martin, Dean (Robbie) Martin and Randy Martin; sisters, Patsy Stoffel and Kathy McCloud; brothers, Frank Martin and Rayburn Martin; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was in the United States Army National Guard for 9 years. He loved Farming, Family and Gardening. "He was a gentle soul of unparalleled strength". A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 8, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at 11:00AM from the funeral home. Burial will be a New Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
