Gloria Layton

Gloria Nan Layton passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2022 at the age of 76. Gloria is survived by her sister: Donna Shannon. Brothers: Earl (Barbara), and Victor (Mary) Layton. Sisters in law: Linda, Sharon, and Phyllis; Brother in law: Frank Burton. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Eula Layton, Sisters: June, Faye, Edna and Emma. Brothers: Howard, Danny Russell, Stanley, Roger Van (Gloria's twin brother), and Winston Layton. Brother in law: Larry Shannon. Sister in law: Alice, and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria would often spend time watching the birds and squirrels outside, or playing with her beloved dog, Dixie. She loved babies and stuffed animals. She enjoyed singing and talking with her best friend, Jesus.

Gloria was loved and cherished by all who knew her and brought joy and light into a dark world. She will truly be missed by us all.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM, Funeral Service beginning at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a graveside service to follow.

Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Pell City, Alabama.
