Gary Dee Sims age 66 of Sterrett, AL. died Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Rev. Sims was a licensed minister with the Church of God of Prophecy.
He was preceded in death by wife, Virginia Sims; and parents: Arnold & Loyce Sims
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sims; 2 daughters: Teresa Tucker (Jerry) & Deree Rogers (Jason); Sons: Randall Sims (Dianne), Bobby Whitfield (Kimberly), & Mathew Whitfield (Laura); 3 sisters: Clara Bean, Margaret Valles, & Sandra Waldron; and 14 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Sterrett Church of God. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM. at Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy with burial to follow in the adjoining Cemetery.
