Fred A Whitworth Jr.

Fred Alvin Whitworth Jr. passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 61. Fred grew up in the Woodlawn area where he hung out with friends, wreaked a bit of havoc and learned more than a few life lessons. He grew up and out of the havoc- wreaking but never lost his sense of fun and adventure and always loved a good joke.

Fred loved the water and his favorite days were ones he spent at the lake with his wife, and best friend, Fran. Those days were even better when he caught a few fish and then cooked them. Fred was an amazing cook and anyone who was around long would benefit from his great skills. Along with fishing and cooking Fred loved his family and loved spending time with his beloved wife Fran and the grands. Fred left too soon and will be missed by many including his wife Fran, daughter Laura Whitworth. Step Daughters: Leanne Crow (Chad). Lauren Taylor (Andrew). Step Son: Corey Smith. Grandchildren: Hunter, Hanna and Lainey Hope. Sisters: Mary (Gina) Snyder (Vaughn) and Jennifer Whitworth. Fred was preceded in death by his father, and the original, Fred Alvin Whitworth Sr. Mother: Mary Frances Whitworth and son Steven Tyler Whitworth.

Memorial services will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson on Saturday November 9th at 1:00 PM.
