Phillips, Elsie age 86 of Leeds, AL passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Phillips, Sr. and son, Michael Phillips. Mrs. Phillips was a Christian and attended services at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She worked as a legal secretary at Bill Vietch Lawfirm.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Denise Phillips Hoover (Keith); son, William E. Phillips, Jr. (Helen); sister, Elaine Terry, brothers, Bill Carpenter, Gary Carpenter and Gene Carpenter; grandchildren, Kevin Phillips, Savannah Stewart (William) and Kaitlyn Harris (David); great grandchildren, Bayne Harris and Finley Stewart.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
