Elsie Sharon Forman Layman, age 81, of Branchville/Odenville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ross Layman, her daughter, Lori Hilerman (Tony), son, Ross Alan Layman, brother, Jerry Forman (Juanita). She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Layman, sisters, Sara Lynn Potts and Cheryl Davis, parents, Joseph and Elsie Forman. She was a graduate of St. Clair County High School in 1957. Attended UTEP where she worked in the library. They were married in Odenville, Alabama in 1957 and their high school class attended their wedding. They started their married life at Fort Bliss in Elpaso, Texas with all their children Texans at Southwestern General Hospital. Her paintings were pleasant and pleasing. She was a member of the Women’s Club and Daughters of the Confederacy. Services for Mrs. Layman will be Saturday August 7, 2021 at 12:00 Pm in the chapel at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial at Branchville Cemetery. Visitation will Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
