Elaine Sanders Lee

She was preceded by her husband of 44 years, Buddy Lee, on March 6, 2012.

She resided with her daughter and granddaughter in Moody, AL. She was a loving angel to everyone she came in contact with. She made a lasting impression on everyone. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her sister, Lynette “Net” Yates of Anniston, AL; brother, Buford Sanders (Margaret) of Ashville, AL; daughters: Joy Phillips of Moody, AL and Kristie Freeman (Jason) of Renfroe, AL. She leaves behind six granddaughters: Brittany Mordecai (Joe), Tiffany Whisenhunt (Andrew), Ashlee Phillips, Katie Freeman, Haley Freeman, and Kason Freeman. Aubree Rae Whisenhunt was her only great granddaughter whom she adored. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
