David Wayne Scott, age 74, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 and is survived by his wife of 49 years; Jennifer Scott, sons; Jeremy Scott and T.J. Scott (Liz Scott), daughter; Lindey Scott Britton (Christopher John Britton), grandchildren; Aliza Scott, Lucy Scott, Mo Scott, Caleb Scott, Walker Scott, Harper Britton, Presley Scott, Crew Britton and Hank Scott, sister; Gloria Sample (Robbie Sample) nephews; Christopher Sample, Jeremy Todd Sample and Robby Lewis Scott; sister in laws, Alison Lindsey, Catherine Walden (Mark) and Josie Retan (Dr. Wally) Mr. Scott ir preceded in death by Jesse Monroe Scott, Robert Lewis Scott, Lavinia Hart Scott. Mr. Scott is retired from the City of Moody Police Department and is US Army veteran and a graduate of the Law Enforcement Academy at the University of Alabama. Services will be Monday March 18, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Leeds from 3PM-4PM with visitation from 2PM-3PM at the church.
